GRANTS
Funding Criteria
We only accept proposals for funding that meet the overall mission and goals of the Foundation.
We fund specific time sensitive projects, core cost and provide technical assistance for collaborative activities. However, each program has its own funding criteria, geographic scope and requirements.
The Foundation gives funding priority to building infrastructure to produce community-based initiatives serving and governed by people of color in recognition of the disproportionate impact that the educational disparity is having on African-American, Latino and other minority communities.
To maximize our impact, the Foundation’s grant-making will focus on three critical areas:
Coalition Building
Youth Engagement
Motorcycle Safety and Education
Riders United to Serve Humanity™ Coalition Building Grant Opportunity
The Foundation can better accomplish its goals through broad-based participation from diverse motorcycle riding groups.
We value local expertise and believe that motorcyclists themselves know best how to determine their community’s needs and propose solutions for lasting change and hope relative to the Foundation's objectives. To this end, the Foundation invests in groups that advance the goals of the Foundation in local communities. We strengthen motorcyclist led groups by providing grants for project expenses.
First-time grant awards generally range from $2,500 to $5,000.
THIS GRANT OPPORTUNITY IS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
