Junior Board of Directors
Overview
The Junior Board of Directors of the Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE Foundation is a dynamic group of young leaders committed to making a difference in their communities through service, advocacy, and innovation. Designed for students and emerging professionals ages 16–30, the Junior Board provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain nonprofit governance experience, and contribute to programs that transform lives — from youth mentoring and college tours to workforce development and community initiatives.
Purpose
The Junior Board serves as a bridge between young people and the Foundation’s mission of “Transportation to Transformation.” Members use their creativity, energy, and voice to help shape programs that inspire social responsibility, advance education, and promote unity within communities across the nation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Junior Board members will:

Serve as ambassadors for the Foundation and its initiatives, including the Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE™ and World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association programs.

Participate in quarterly meetings and leadership workshops.

Support fundraising campaigns, social media outreach, and community service events.

Develop and implement youth-led projects that align with the Foundation’s goals.

Engage with corporate and community partners to promote scholarship and workforce pathways.

Learn about nonprofit operations, board governance, and civic engagement.
