The World of Soul® Motorcycle Community and its affiliated foundation, the Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE™ Foundation, have achieved numerous accomplishments and initiatives to promote education, community engagement, and motorcycle safety.

 

Some key highlights include:

1. Building a social network of 9,600 motorcyclists and clubs, raising $100,000 for the Washington, DC Martin Luther King Memorial Foundation, and launching a national civic engagement campaign to register voters.

2. Establishing the Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE™ awareness campaign, partnering with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition to support higher education for students, and expanding the campaign to multiple cities.

3. Creating the World of Soul® Motorcyclist Association, introducing the Riders United to Serve Humanity™ initiative, and gaining support from dealerships to promote the program.

4. Partnering with Chicago Public Schools to mentor students on various educational topics and providing motorcycle safety awareness presentations during Driver's Education classes.

5. Organizing the World of Soul® College Fair/HBCU Expo to connect college recruiters with underserved communities and facilitating College Tours to Historically Black Colleges and Universities via the Ride for CHANGE Ride for HOPE College Tour™.

6. Developing an agenda from the World of Soul® Motorcycle Community Conference Series and connecting mentees with scholarships.

7. Garnering support for a trail bike program to incentivize troubled youth with motorcycle riding for good grades and behavior changes.

8. Receiving support from Harley-Davidson's Destination Daytona and expanding the Riders United to Serve Humanity™ initiative in the southeastern states.

9. Identifying land for a Youth Development Center and receiving endorsements from officials and community organizations for the project.

10. Diversifying our board by adding a non-African-American board member, and securing grant funding from the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago to support the organization during the pandemic.

11. Chairing the Atlantic Beach Bikefest and receiving a donation, technical training and marketing support from Oracle Corporation.

12. Successfully rebooting the organization after a slowdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

13. Meeting with Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez to discuss the College Tour initiative and receiving grant funding from the Illinois Department of Transportation for various programs.

14. We proudly introduced World of Soul® Premium Coffee, an initiative that fuels our mission.

15. Developing a strategy with South Shore International College Prep High School to improve education outcomes through community collaboration.
